Biography

The painter Alessandra Puppo was born in 1936 in Florence and her career began in 1954. She studied drawing and painting with Raffaello Salimbeni e Adriana Pincherle and in subsequent periods she lived in various cities of Italy, Switzerland and in Paris. She paints professionally from 1962 and she has participated in more important events of Naif Art in Italy and abroad.

Alessandra Puppo has reached a very high standard of ability in her way of painting sea landscapes, villages and Portofino views. Her pictures are in several important private art collections and in several Museum mainly in Paris and in Italy.

Alessandra Puppo materializes that magical and joyful belonging to places of nowhere (No Where Land) or rather all places, because the naiveté of this painting mixing colours and atmosphere, creating tropical charm in Mediterranean landscapes, crowding the scene of lovely ladies and gentlemen happily old-fashioned or careless hikers to their tub lost in the blue sea.
